THE SUN RISES

Brampton, ON

3/24/2021

Lately, I’ve been struggling to stay motivated as a creative. Something was missing but it was right in front of me. I spend so much time making content for ‘the growing photographer’, yet haven’t been taking the time to grow and express myself as one. There is something so freeing and exciting about just going out and taking photos. Even just sitting down to edit these photos filled my heart with joy. There is something indescribably special about loading my photos for the day into Lightroom, hitting the play button on my favourite music playlist, and just allowing myself to create freely. Photography is a lot more personal than some may think, and I believe that is a lesson I’ll take from this whole experience. It wasn’t that I missed taking photos, as much as it was that I missed the creative expression of it all.

LIFE IS COLOUR

Colour fuels our admiration for this planet. With that being said, Mother Nature’s hands aren’t always the source. Mankind has had their input on the abundance of colour that we find all around us. We often find these pops of colourful influence within our neibourhoods, neon cities, and sometimes… on our bike lock racks (Spiderman hat ;)).
